Phumelela Gaming partners Kiron Interactive
Earlier this month, Phumelela Gaming and Leisure inked a deal with Johannesburg-based virtual sports innovator Kiron Interactive. The agreement will see the pair launch a new fixed-odds betting channel which will offer a wide range of live horseracing action.
The Racing World Channel
Phumelela Gaming and Kiron will be bringing a huge development in the African racing industry – the Racing World channel. As the name suggests, the new channel will feature major racing events from across the world. That is premier live South African, British and Irish horse racing and virtual racing. Racing World will offer South African racing (Flat), British and Irish racing (Jumps and Flat) and other horse racing products from Kiron in betting retails all over Africa.
The Launch
The Racing World Channel launched recently. It started in Uganda with Kings Sports Betting. The overall objective for the channel is to reach new operators and expand in west and east Africa in the next coming months.
The International Sales Director for Phumelela Gaming, John Stuart says: “This agreement is a real step forward for betting on racing in Africa. Enhancing the racing package that we are able to offer our African clients with Kiron Interactive and British and Irish racing is a priority for us.”

Kiron’s CEO, Steven Spartinos, also expressed his excitement for the deal. “We are always assessing new opportunities to expand our global reach, and this partnership represents a major milestone for us,” he said.
